Winą, za ów godny ubolewania stan rzeczy, profesor obarcza proceder zaniedbywania w edukacji szkolnej zajęć z prac ręcznych oraz plastyki - jak również, co było do przewidzenia, zbyt dużą ilość czasu jaką studenci chirurgii spędzają przed ekranami komputerów.
